Jeontong Maetdol Sundubu (전통맷돌순두부) is a tofu restaurant in the Supmeori food area just before Gyeongju's Bomun tourism district. Korean name: 전통맷돌순두부. Romanization: Jeontong Maetdol Sundubu. Easy pronunciation: juhn-tong mae-ttol soon-doo-boo. Showing the Korean name on your phone is still the safest backup if pronunciation gets tricky.
The restaurant is known for sundubu-jjigae, clear soft-tofu soup, plain tofu and tofu hot pot. The spicy sundubu-jjigae is an easy starting point if you want a warm Korean stew, while 맑은순두부 (malgeun sundubu, roughly mal-geun soon-doo-boo) is a milder option.
Gyeongju's official tourism information lists the restaurant at 111 Supmeori-gil, Gyeongju, and notes that it opens from the morning. Because opening hours can change, check the latest same-day information before visiting.

If you are staying around Bomun, a taxi is usually the simplest option. The restaurant is in the same Supmeori cluster as several other tofu restaurants, so it works well as a food stop connected to a Bomun itinerary rather than a separate trip across town.
