Isabu Pizza: Onion Bulgogi, Sizes and Half-and-Half

If I went to Isabu Pizza, I’d look at the onion bulgogi first. My MATI taste-test record leans towards meat rather than seafood, so bulgogi is where my eye goes on the menu. I haven’t been there myself; this guide is based on public reviews on Diningcode and Polle and my taste-test record.

I checked the public menus and opening information on 28 September 2026 and the bulgogi prices on 10 October 2026. The reviews describe past visits, so portions and service today may differ.

One reviewer’s Isabu M with cheese crust was enough for two

Diningcode reviewer Jisungsung shared an M cheese-crust pizza between two people, was happy with the toppings and cheese, and felt a two-person set would have left food over. Appetites differ, though, so I wouldn’t take one review as proof that an M is enough for everyone.

Mimimark described generous toppings on a crust that wasn’t too thick, and found the chilli cheese sticks spicy. My record leans slightly away from heat, so if I were choosing a side, that’s what I’d ask about first.

Notes on the restroom and service

On Polle, Ttubukdaejang liked the pizza and the fries but was disappointed that there was only one restroom. Eolleongttungdaeji found the food fine but didn’t feel the staff were friendly. Both describe past visits, so I can’t say things are the same now.

How sweet is the bulgogi sauce?

The onion bulgogi fits the meat-leaning side of my record. Diningcode’s menu description calls it a sweet-and-salty bulgogi pizza, and my record leans slightly away from sweetness, so the sauce may taste sweeter than I’d like. Neither the description nor the reviews say how sweet it is, so I’d ask when ordering.

On 10 October 2026, Diningcode’s menu listed the onion bulgogi at KRW 25,900 for an M and KRW 30,000 for an L, and the onion-bulgogi/bacon-potato half-and-half L at KRW 32,000. Going from M to L adds KRW 4,100, and switching a bulgogi L to the half-and-half L adds KRW 2,000. Prices may have changed since, so please check when you order.

Do we want everything in a set?

The two-person set I recorded in September had an M pizza, spaghetti, fries and two drinks; the four-person set had an L pizza, spaghetti, fries and still two drinks. The listing didn’t make clear which pizzas, sauces and swaps are allowed, so that’s worth asking about.

Polle lists tomato, cream and rosé spaghetti. For two of us, I’d rather start with one pizza and add a side once we know how hungry we are than order a whole set straight away.

1064-6 Poseok-ro, Hwangnam-dong

Isabu Pizza is on the first floor at 1064-6 Poseok-ro, Hwangnam-dong, Gyeongju, and it’s registered in the Dongnearena store list. When I checked Diningcode in September, it listed 11:00–21:00 with a break from 15:30 to 17:00, but hours, waits and takeaway can change, so check on the day you go.

If I went, I’d start with an onion bulgogi M

If I went to Isabu Pizza, I’d order an onion bulgogi M first and decide on sides as we eat. That’s my own pick, not something the reviews prove: the two-person portion review above was about the Isabu signature M with cheese crust, and I don’t know how filling the bulgogi M is. If my companion likes potato topping, I’d switch to the half-and-half L. For a side, I’d look at the fries, which a reviewer liked, before the cheese sticks another reviewer found spicy.
