Tiger Katsu (호랑이카츠 / Horangi Kacheu / ho-rang-ee ka-cheu) is in a side street of Hwangridan-gil, within easy walking distance of the Daereungwon sightseeing area. It is a good fit when your group has already decided on tonkatsu but wants more choice inside the katsu category itself.

The menu includes tenderloin and loin katsu sets. Tenderloin is usually the softer, leaner choice, while loin gives more meat texture and a richer bite. Having both on the menu makes it easier to choose by cut rather than simply ordering a generic pork cutlet.

There are also variations such as cheese galbi katsu and curry-based set meals, plus sides including large fried shrimp and crab-cream croquettes. These options make the restaurant useful for travelers who want a more varied katsu-centered meal without leaving the same menu style.

The restaurant works naturally with a Hwangridan-gil and Daereungwon walking day. Public opening information currently points to an 11 a.m. start and an afternoon break, but hours and closing days can change, so check the same day before visiting.

Show the Korean name 호랑이카츠 if you need to ask for directions. A useful Korean mini-challenge is 안심카츠 주세요 (an-shim ka-cheu joo-seh-yoh), meaning “Tenderloin katsu, please,” or 등심카츠 주세요 (deung-shim ka-cheu joo-seh-yoh), meaning “Loin katsu, please.”
